I have always loved learning for as long as I can remember. I actually enjoyed researching things in school (not so much the writing papers thing though!) What often happens is I'll see something on the side of the road or wherever we are visiting and ask questions in my head. Thanks to Google these days I don't have to wait, I can just look at my phone and figure things out. So when I saw the steam vent towering over my kids at the skate park in Michigan City I wondered if it was nuclear. Nope, it's coal and natural gas. Cool! But why here? Oh it used to be a giant dune? What happened to the sand? Did they destroy this dune for a power plant? Ugh that makes me so mad! Wait, no. That's not what happened. And on and on down the rabbit hole I went while sitting on the sidelines at the skatepark while my kids played.
