Moab BLM | Utah Boondocking

Writer's picture: noordinarypathnoordinarypath

I imagine this place is pretty hopping in the summertime. There is plenty of space and the road goes in quite a ways. As it was, there were a few other campers just down the road from us and the ground was completely covered in snow and ice! It was a very pretty area and you can see the green stripes in the rock in the distance when the sun is shining on them. It was about 20 min to the town of Moab, 10 min to Arches, and 30 minutes to Canyonlands. Overall, it was pretty perfect for our needs. We would stay there again for sure. One thing I'll note, if you need propane there is only one place nearby to get it and it's only available from 10 am to 3 pm but they take an hour break in there. Otherwise, you have to drive into town.
